GREENE COUNTY, AR (KAIT) -

A crash in Greene County killed one person and injured two others early Saturday morning.

According to an Arkansas State Police fatal crash report, an unlisted person was driving a 2004 Dodge truck west on Greene County Road 611 around 2:25 a.m. when the car ran off the road in a curve, hit a tree, and flipped.

Symathana Jones, 33, of Manila was a passenger in the car. She died in the crash.

A previous Arkansas State Police crash report incorrectly showed Jones as the driver of the vehicle, but now lists her as a passenger.

The driver of the truck was not injured.

Two other passengers, Gaylan Trammell, 34, and Julliane Trammel, 33, both of Paragould were also injured in the crash.

One of the injured passengers was taken to Regional One Health in Memphis. The other was taken to a Jonesboro hospital.

Weather conditions were clear and the road was dry at the time of the crash.

Bill Sadler with Arkansas State Police said an investigation is currently underway and once it is completed, state police will consult with the prosecuting attorney to decide whether any charges are needed to be filed against anyone involved in the crash.
