JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - Wednesday, Nov. 2, UPDATE: Jonesboro police continue to investigate a Tuesday night shooting that left a teen injured.
When officers arrived in the 2200-block of Clover Drive at 7:33 p.m. they found a 17-year-old male suffering from at least one gunshot wound, according to Paul Holmes, public information specialist with the Jonesboro Police Department.
Officers provided first aid to the victim until an ambulance arrived and took him to a local hospital for treatment.
The suspect, described as a black male wearing a white shirt and black pants, was last seen running north toward a nearby apartment building.

10:36 p.m. UPDATE: Authorities were still searching for a suspect who reportedly shot a person Tuesday night.
Witnesses said they heard at least six shots and saw someone running toward the Bel Aire Village area.
As officers began looking for the suspect, a neighbor said the shooting had unnerved people in the area.
"Kids are outside all the time and with it not being safe and with all of the gunshots that has been frequently going on around here...it is not a safe neighborhood so it makes you worry about the kids," Brandis Dickson said.

7:35 p.m. UPDATE: Jonesboro police are investigating a shooting Tuesday night on Clover Drive, according to Public Information Specialist Paul Holmes.
Holmes said one person was shot and police are searching for a suspect.
Police received a call of a shooting at 7:33 p.m.
The victim is en route to the hospital.
The area is marked off, and several officers are on the scene searching for evidence.
Police do not have a motive at this time and are just working on a suspect.
