JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) -

Police arrested a man after officers said he was caught attempting to snort cocaine off a table at a Jonesboro nightclub.

According to a police report, an off-duty police officer spotted 33-year old Travis Blunt attempting to snort cocaine off of a table inside The Vault just before midnight on Friday.

Blunt reportedly told police that he did not have cocaine on him and consented to a search.

While conducting the search, the officer uncovered a clear piece of plastic that contained methamphetamine, as well as a ticket issued for Blunt on warrants out of Jonesboro.

Blunt was arrested and was taken to the Craighead County Detention Center.

The judge found probable cause to charge Blunt with possession of meth or cocaine and given a $1,500 surety bond.

Blunt is due back in court on Dec. 30.
