Sheriff's dept. investigating vandalism, theft from tractor

RANDOLPH COUNTY, AR (KAIT) -

A sheriff's department is asking for help in solving a string of thefts.

One incident the Randolph County Sheriff's Department is investigating is the theft and vandalism of a tractor.

A new release states it happened off Washington Rd., south of Maynard, between Nov. 5 and Monday.

Someone went into a Case tractor and stole a GPS monitor in addition to the console and tractor seat it was attached to. A Kenwood CB radio and AM/FM radio was also taken.

The wiring harness in the cab was also cut.

In a separate case, the sheriff's department is asking for information in the theft of a 1997 Ingersoll Skytrak forklift and a Taylor power generator. They were taken from around Fowler Rd., located east of Maynard.
