Crews called to trailer home fire

2:05 p.m. UPDATE: Jonesboro firefighters remain on the scene of a mobile home fire, putting out hot spots.

According to officials on the scene, it appears to be a "total loss."

However, they said no one was inside and no one was injured.

The fire crew's rapid response helped prevent the fire from spreading to a nearby woods and other trailers parked close by.


Craighead County Dispatch has confirmed a mobile home fire on Duncan Road in Jonesboro.

According to dispatch, no one was in the home, but the fire could spread.

We have a crew at the scene and will have more information when available.
