NEW ORLEANS, La. (11/9/16) – The Sun Belt Conference announced its largest television package ever for men's and women's basketball for the 2016-17 season and Arkansas State University men's and women's basketball teams will have a total of 20 games available on ESPN3.
Both men's and women's basketball will have seven home games and one road contest carried by ESPN3. The first chance to see the Red Wolves on ESPN3 is the doubleheader against Troy on Saturday, Jan. 21, at 3 p.m. at the Convocation Center. The men's game will follow at 7 p.m. in the split doubleheader format.
ESPN3 is a 24/7 sports network, which offers live and replayed events to viewers. ESPN3 is available on over 300 affiliated service providers such as AT&T, Bright House, Cablevision, Charter, Comcast, Cox, DISH, Time Warner Cable and Verizon. The 2017 Sun Belt Conference Women's Basketball Championship tips-off on Tuesday, March 7 with game one of the women's tournament at 11:30 a.m. (CT). The women's basketball championship game is set for a 5 p.m. (CT) tip-off on Sunday, March 12. The men's tournament begins on Wednesday, March 8 at 11:30 a.m. (CT) with the championship game slated for Selection Sunday (March 12). The men's championship game will be televised nationally on ESPN and all other games of the men's and women's tournaments will be carried by ESPN3.
Both the men's and women's championships will take place at the Lakefront Arena in New Orleans, La.
