(KAIT) - A mother wants something that is already available in Arkansas to become a national priority.
According to NBC affiliate KSHB, a Kansas woman wants the Jason Flatt Act adopted in Missouri and nationwide.
The report said she learned after her daughter took her own life there were warning signs.
The act requires free online suicide awareness training for teachers and will be available in Kansas by 2017.
