Harding Football Earns No. 3 Seed in Super Region 3; Hosts Central Missouri
SEARCY - Harding football has qualified for the NCAA Division II Playoffs for the third time in the last five years.

Harding, undefeated at 11-0 and champions of the Great American Conference, are the No. 3 seed in NCAA Division II Super Region 3. Harding will host Central Missouri, the No. 6 seed. Central Missouri, located in Warrensburg, is 9-2, won its last six games and finished third in the MIAA.

Harding and Central Missouri will kick off at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 19 at First Security Stadium. Tickets will be available in the Ganus Activities Complex each weekday beginning Monday, Nov. 14, from noon until 5 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students and are all general admission. For those who would like to purchase tickets on game day, the ticket booth will open Saturday at 10 a.m.

The winner of the Harding-Central Missouri game will take on the winner of the No. 2 Sioux Falls-No. 7 Azusa Pacific game on Saturday, Nov. 26. The game will be played at the location of the higher seed.

Harding will be hosting a playoff game for the first time since 1992, when it hosted Central State (Ohio) in the NAIA Playoffs. The Bisons went on the road to play NCAA Division II playoff games against Northwest Missouri State in 2012 and Pittsburg State in 2014.

Harding is coming off a 42-7 victory over Arkansas Tech on Saturday to complete its first undefeated regular season. Central Missouri defeated Lindenwood 35-7 in Warrensburg on Saturday.

Harding and Central Missouri will be meeting for the third time, but for the first time in 48 seasons. The Bisons won the first meeting 27-13 in Searcy on Nov. 18, 1967, and the Mules won 35-0 in Warrensburg on Oct. 12, 1968.
