JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) -

3:51 p.m., Nov. 16 UPDATE: A $10,000 bond was set Wednesday for a former ASU football player arrested in a drug investigation this week.

Joshua Dewayne Jarboe, 26, of Atlanta was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of firearms by certain persons and simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms in the case. Jarboe was also arrested on suspicion of violating parole.

According to a probable cause affidavit, Jonesboro police went to an apartment on Melrose Street around 8:15 a.m. Monday after getting a call about a domestic disturbance.  The officers could see marijuana inside the apartment and later spoke to Jarboe and Felica Vincent of Jonesboro.

After getting a search warrant, police found over $5,000 in cash inside Jarboe's pockets and marijuana inside a refrigerator at the apartment, the affidavit noted.

Vincent was also arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, possession of drug paraphernalia and simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms, police said.

A former ASU football player is in trouble with the law again after his arrest Tuesday.

According to Jonesboro police spokesman Paul Holmes, Joshua Dewayne Jarboe, 26, of Atlanta was arrested around 11 a.m. Tuesday in Jonesboro by drug task force agents on suspicion of possession of a firearm by certain persons and a felony probation violation.

Jarboe was an undrafted free agent of the Washington Redskins, was also arrested in Dec. 2014 in connection with a drug case.

As for the arrest Tuesday, Holmes said more details will be available at a later date.
