LITTLE ROCK, AR (KAIT/KARK) - Babies experience a number of firsts and a hospital in Arkansas has new technology to make sure that continues.
In a report by KARK, officials with UAMS in Little Rock explained a new piece of technology that is one of a kind in the state.
It allows babies footprints to be taken digitally rather than with ink and paper.
Ginny Smith, nursing director in women's health at UAMS, told KARK this technology will help if an emergency ever happens with a child, including abduction.
