Fill the Food Bank totals exceed goals by over 50,000 meals

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) -

The 2016 Fill the Food Bank event certainly did not disappoint.

With an initial goal of collecting enough for 85,000 meals, the Food Bank of Northeast Arkansas raised approximately 136,123 meals.

Families who have previously used the Food Bank helped make contributions to the event, as well as local businesses, students and organizations.
