JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) -

A Jonesboro police cruiser sustained “major damage” following a three-vehicle crash.

The crash happened just after 6 p.m. Thursday on Old Greensboro Road near the Peachtree intersection.

According to the crash report, Officer Alexandria Duncan’s 2011 Ford Crown Victoria struck the rear of a 2015 Chevy pickup truck stopped for another crash.

The pickup truck then struck the rear of a 2010 Ford F-250.

The cruiser sustained “major damage to the front,” according to the report.

The collision damaged the front and rear bumpers of the Chevy pickup and the Ford pickup truck’s rear bumper.

No one was injured in the crash.

Paul Holmes, public information specialist for the Jonesboro Police Department, does not know at this time if Officer Duncan will be cited for the collision or if she faces disciplinary action.
