LAWRENCE COUNTY, AR (KAIT) -

A Lawrence County man was charged with rape and sexual assault in two separate cases.

According to a probable cause affidavit dated Sept.6, Mark Robinson went to the Hoxie Police Department, with his father, and spoke with officers.

A 16-year-old female reported to police that Robinson had raped her on several occasions.

The victim told police he grabbed her by the neck and forced her to have sex with him.

Robinson admitted he did not stop having sex with her when she asked him to stop, according to the affidavit.

Robinson was arrested and charged with rape.

An affidavit dated Oct. 18 said a juvenile intake officer made a report to a child abuse hotline of a 17-year-old boy having sex with a 13-year-old female.

The officer said a woman told her that Robinson sneaked into her daughter's window.

When the woman came home, she found her daughter had hickeys on her neck. When the woman confronted her daughter, she denied anything happened.

Later, her daughter told another family member she had unprotected sex with Robinson.

Robinson was charged with third-degree sexual assault.
