Low gas prices spurring holiday travel

(KAIT) - If you are driving during the Thanksgiving holiday, you will encounter a lot of orange traffic barrels across Arkansas, according to Talk Business & Politics.

With gas prices in Arkansas being some of the lowest in the country, many families are hitting the road to visit relatives.

The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department said some construction projects would slow travel time.

Arkansas State Troopers and state law enforcement are teaming up to make sure drivers are obeying the rules of the road, especially the seat belt law.
