JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) -

Artwork by local high school students will be featured in an exhibition at the Bradbury Art Museum, 201 Olympic Dr. on the A-State campus.

The exhibit will feature paintings, drawings, prints, and mixed media objects by Jonesboro High School art students.

The students toured the museum in September before beginning a semester-long project. During their visit, they discussed the portrait-themed exhibitions on display. Inspired by the work they had seen, they then created a portrait of their own.

The exhibition, which will open with a public reception from 5-6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 29, runs through Dec. 7 and is free to the public.

Museum hours are noon to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, 2 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, and by appointment. For more information, click here.
