Authorities are looking into a case where someone shot an arrow into a dog earlier this month, Cross County Sheriff J.R. Smith said Wednesday.
Deputies went to a home on County Road 7415 on Nov. 3 about the incident. Smith said a witness told police she was sitting on her front porch with a friend when she noticed several dogs leaving her property and running to a nearby church. One dog was running fast and went under a house, Smith said.
Both the woman and her friend saw an arrow sticking out of the dog, Smith said.
Anyone with information on the incident can call the Cross County Sheriff's Department at (870) 238-5700.
