JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) -

Power crews were able to restore power to parts of Jonesboro after experiencing a "major outage."

According to Kevan Inboden with City Water and Light, the outage was mainly focused in the northwest part of Jonesboro.

Inboden said some of the affected areas included the Culberhouse area north of Johnson. It also included Church Street north of Daybreak Drive.

The outage affected roughly 400-500 customers.

According to Inboden, the power went out at 3:21 a.m. on Monday and was restored by 4:52 a.m.

Inboden said CWL doesn't have an exact cause as to why the power went out.
