Red Wolves to play in AutoNation Cure Bowl

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) -

The Arkansas State University Red Wolves are bowl bound once again.

A-State will be playing in the AutoNation Cure Bowl to cap off the 2016-17 football season.

The Red Wolves bounced back from a 0-4 start to finish the year at 7-5 overall, including 7-1 in conference play. The 7-1 conference record allowed the Red Wolves to claim their fifth conference championship in six seasons.

The Red Wolves will take on the University of Central Florida (UCF) in Orlando.

The game is set to air Saturday, December 17 at 4:30 pm on the CBS Sports Network.

Fans can buy tickets online immediately or at the A-State Convocation Center Box Office Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. The priority purchase deadline is Dec. 7 at 5 p.m.
