WEINER, AR (KAIT) -

Two are behind bars after a traffic stop leads to a drug bust.

Weiner Police Chief Ryan Price said he arrested 25-year-old Jake Baker and 40-year-old Sondra Dursey Sunday night in Weiner.

Price said he pulled the two over on Kings Highway around 8 p.m.

After getting consent to search the vehicle, Price found 12 individual bags of meth, pills, a pipe, and syringes.

On the City of Weiner Police Department’s Facebook page, Price wrote his department is working very hard to get meth off the streets.

Price said a formal report of the arrests will be completed this week.
