JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) -

Have a question or comment you would like to share with Jonesboro police? Then mark Dec. 15 on your calendar and have "Coffee with a Cop."

Officers will be at Chick-fil-A, 1800 Red Wolf Blvd., at the Mall at Turtle Creek from 2 until 4 p.m. that Thursday to meet with citizens.

The goal of the agenda-free session is to remove the typical barriers that can come between officers and residents, according to the Jonesboro Police Department.

In addition to meeting with the citizens they serve and protect, officers will offer tips on having a safe holiday, keeping your home secure, navigating holiday traffic, and safe shopping.
