PARAGOULD, AR (KAIT) - CenterPoint Energy has been able to relight most of their Paragould customers after experiencing a natural gas outage Thursday.
The outage affected about 450 customers.
The company issued a news release Friday afternoon stating their employees went from home to home to relight pilots and ensure safety.
"We greatly appreciate our customers' cooperation and patience as our employees worked as quickly as we could to safely restore natural gas service," said Terry Rollins, district director for CenterPoint Energy.
If no one was home to let the technician inside, CenterPoint Energy left a door hanger with instructions.
Customers should only call the company if they receive a door hanger.
