LITTLE ROCK, AR (KAIT/KARK) - A man faces terroristic threatening and other charges after he reportedly threatened a northwest Arkansas business with jihad, a Little Rock television station reported.
According to a report from KLRT-TV, Jeremiah Bliss-Leija was arrested on suspicion of making a terrorist threat, 1st degree terroristic threatening and domestic assault after an investigation by authorities in Carroll County.
Authorities heard from the man's wife about the alleged threat.
His wife told police that he threatened to show up at a cafe in Eureka Springs where she worked, shoot the people inside, slit her throat and "bring jihad onto Berryville", KLRT reported.
According to court records, Bliss-Leija told police his wife had been associating with homosexuals at work and that it was against their religion, KLRT reported.
