CARAWAY, AR (KAIT) - A Caraway couple faces multiple charges after investigators say a search of their home turned up multiple guns and drugs.
Craighead County sheriff's deputies, along with Caraway police and agents with the Second Judicial Drug Task Force, executed a search warrant Thursday at a home in the 300-block of State Street.
Inside the home, they found multiple rifles, shotguns, and handguns, according to the initial incident report.
Investigators said they also found 14.4 grams of methamphetamine, valued at $1,400; and 3 pounds of suspected marijuana.
The report stated officers also found multiple sets of digital scales and glass pipes used to ingest illegal drugs.
Deputies arrested 52-year-old John Coggins and 39-year-old Mandy Lea Coatney.
The couple faces various felony charges including:
- Simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms,
- Possession of meth or cocaine with the purpose to deliver greater than 10 grams but less than 200 grams,
- Possession of a Schedule VI controlled substance with the purpose to deliver, and
- Possession of drug paraphernalia.
They were taken to the Craighead County Detention Center to await probable cause hearings.
