Police Look for Author of Filthy Note

May 24, 2005--Posted 7:00 pm CDT

Jonesboro, AR--Jonesboro police want to know who the author of a nasty note posted to the side of a car is.  Police are using surveillance video from the Parker Road Wal-Mart in Jonesboro for clues in their hunt for the man they believe placed the note on the car.

The recipient of the note talked to K8 News Exclusively this week.  She said the note was sexually explicit but did not threaten her life.  The note was also hand written.  The author also claimed he was keeping an eye on the woman too.

Police say they suspect the man responsible for the letter is driving a white GMC Sonoma Stepside.  The vehicle has custom rims and appeared to be carrying mattresses in the back of the pick-up.  Police ask anyone who has any information to call Crime Stoppers at 935-STOP.
