Woman flown to hospital following crash

PEMISCOT COUNTY, MO (KAIT) - A Kennett woman was seriously injured Monday night when the car she was riding in crashed into a guardrail.

The crash occurred around 7:45 p.m. on Route NN, eight miles south of Gobler, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Jasha E. Mullins, 32, of Kennett was northbound when his 1998 Nissan Maxima ran off the road and struck a guardrail.

Latoya L. Whitfield, 40, was flown to St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro with serious injuries.

Another passenger, 16-year-old Tally S. Whitfield of Kennett, was taken by private vehicle to the same hospital with minor injuries.
