A-State fall commencement to set new record

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) -

A record 1,405 students will receive their diplomas at Arkansas State University’s fall commencement ceremony.

The number of graduates participating in Saturday’s commencement surpasses the previous record of 1,350 set in 2012.

According to a news release from A-State, 717 undergraduates and 688 graduate students representing six colleges will receive their degrees.

The ceremony will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 10, in the Convocation Center, 201 Olympic Dr. A-State will stream the commencement ceremony live on YouTube at http://www.AState.edu/livestream.
