Two facing drug charges after probation search

CORNING, AR (KAIT) -

Police say two people ended up in handcuffs after evidence of drug activity was found during a search.

Corning Police Chief Jimmy Leach stated a probation search was executed at a residence on Main Street Wednesday.

Officers found "several items" in the bedroom.

A photo of the evidence was shared on the Corning Police Department's Facebook page showing what appear to be syringes, a gun, and brass knuckles among other items.

Amanda Forrester and Adam Fox, both of Corning, were arrested during the search, according to Leach.

Forrester faces charges of possession of controlled substance-meth, felony possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of controlled substance-marijuana, and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.

Meanwhile, Fox faces charges of possession of controlled substance-meth, felony possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of controlled substance-marijuana, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of an instrument of a crime.

Forrester and Fox are in the Clay County Detention Center awaiting a probable cause hearing.
