JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - A member of the state's congressional delegation is being considered for a possible position in the Trump administration next year.
According to a report from Little Rock television station KARK, Rep. Rick Crawford, R-Jonesboro is on the list for Secretary of Agriculture. Crawford, who is elected in 2010 and became the first Republican to win the 1st District since Reconstruction.
Crawford serves on the House Agriculture Committee, where he serves as chairman of the Subcommittee on General Farm Commodities and Risk Management.
There has been no comment yet from Crawford on the report, KARK noted.
