NEWPORT, AR (KAIT) -

Christmas came early for a woman who bought a lottery ticket in Jackson County.

Katherine Holleman of McCrory turned a $3 instant game ticket into $75,000. She claimed her prize on Friday, according to the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery.

Holleman told ASL she's going to "hit the road" in a new motorcycle and take care of some Christmas presents.

She bought the winning ticket in Newport at Jordan’s Kwik Stop #5, 2355 Highway 148.

The first person Holleman told about the win was her boyfriend, Larry.
