Two people seriously injured in morning crash

BUTLER COUNTY, MO (KAIT) -

Two people suffered serious injuries Monday morning in a two-car collision.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the crash happened at 9:30 a.m. on Route T, three miles south of Wappapello in Butler County.

According to the crash report, a 2014 GMC Terrain driven by Janet K. Brown, 66, of Poplar Bluff rear-ended a 2002 Saturn L200 driven by Vicky D. Clemons, 56, of Wappapello.

Clemons and her passenger, 42-year-old Joseph W. Holman, were taken by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center with serious injuries.

Brown suffered minor injuries.

All three were wearing seatbelts at the time of the collision, investigators said.
