AR investigator helps make 30 sex crime arrests

FAULKNER COUNTY, AR (KAIT) -

An Arkansas community has seen more sex crime arrests than other places in the state.

According to a report by KATV, there have been 30 arrests in Faulkner County so far.

Pulaski County is right next to Faulkner and has only had 4 arrests

One of the reasons behind the startling number is that the sheriff’s office has several detectives finding predators on the internet.

Faulkner County Sheriff Matt Rice says this has turned into a warning for criminals.

"Our whole goal is to...when people want to come to Faulkner County and do something of this magnitude, they know that Faulkner County is not the place to do that,” said Sheriff Rice.
