(KAIT) - Thanks to an act from 2005, Missouri driver's licenses will soon not be accepted at airports.

According to a report by KOLR in Springfield, MO, Missouri ID's are not compliant with the Real ID Act.

An airport spokesperson told the Missouri TV station that the state had 11 years to deal with it, and now it is crunch time.

A Missouri lawmaker said there is a solution to this problem and that's House Bill 151.
