Coroner called to crash on Hwy. 63 in Greene Co.

GREENE COUNTY, AR (KAIT) -

6 p.m. UPDATE: According to an Arkansas State Police fatality report, a Randolph County woman was killed in the accident. 

Debra Bray of Maynard was driving a 2001 Ford vehicle, going north on U.S. 63 when the accident happened. 

The accident Tuesday was the 512th fatal accident on Arkansas highways this year, according to ASP. 


5 p.m. UPDATE:  According to the Arkansas State Police, the accident involved a car and an 18-wheeler.

The vehicle was going north U.S. 63 when it crossed into the southbound lane, striking the tractor trailer rig, ASP said. There is no word on how many people were involved. 


The Greene County coroner is at the scene of a crash on Highway 63 at the Greene County line.

At least two vehicles were involved in the crash in front of the Old Country Store.

Two lanes of traffic are open at this time.

Please avoid the area if possible.
