JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) -

An 85-year-old victim is out $600.  Who would steal from an old woman?  Jonesboro Police said this week they have a suspect on camera.

According to JPD, the woman seen in security footage given to Crimestoppers by JPD wearing the large dark sunglasses is depositing and cashing forged checks.  The detective on the case says it happened twice in a thirty-minute span in late October.

In the report, it says the suspect deposited two checks, worth $800 each; and withdrew $300 in cash each time.  She allegedly did it at two different banks in town.  The name the suspect gave was Nicole Nowicki. It's a name JPD has not been able to verify as her real name.

Another clue in this shot is the car.  The report says it's a Kia Sportage with a big roof rack.

If you think you can make the ID on this woman, it could lead to a reward for you.  Call Crimestoppers anonymously at 935-STOP.

Jonesboro Police is also looking for two people with over 40 active warrants.  One of them is also a parole absconder.

Crystal Thomas has 18 warrants for contempt of court.

Marcus Whitney has 22 warrants for contempt of court. He is also listed as a parole absconder.

If you can help police find Marcus Whitney or Crystal Thomas, it's worth money.  Call in that tip to Crimestoppers at 935-STOP.  You can also text it in.

Take your iPhone or Droid phone and type in 2-7-4-6-3-7 or type in the word "CRIMES" if your phone can do that.  Then, in the message, type in 935stop. One word, followed by your tip.  Hit send and you'll get a message back from Crimestoppers with your anonymous tip number.  This is yours to keep for any future reward.  That's how Crimestoppers works 935-STOP.
