LITTLE ROCK, AR (KAIT/KATV) -

A heated discussion over a new contract for the Arkansas Department of Human Services caused lawmakers to decide to do nothing.

According to a report by KATV, lawmakers were supposed to review a new contract for the provider of the state’s youth services facilities Tuesday.

The new contract is expected to cost the state more money, and some lawmakers decided it was best to review it further before making any decisions.
