Steele, MO store robbed, police searching for suspects

STEELE, MO (KAIT) - Police in Pemiscot County are searching for two men accused of robbing a convenience store.

According to Steele Police Chief Billy Joe Stanfield, two men robbed the Flash Market Convenience Store on North Walnut Street in Steele around 9:30 p.m.

Stanfield said a store clerk told officers that two black men came into the store, one with a handgun, and demanded money.

The suspects left with an undisclosed amount of money.
