New technology to help keep truck drivers alert

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) -

A new wearable technology piece should help drivers stay alert on the road.

According to a report by Forbes, "Co-Pilot" is a smart headset designed particularly for truck drivers.

It features motion sensors to track how they drive and alerts them if mistakes occur.

Forbes said the new technology is expected to be a billion-dollar business by 2018.
