FULTON COUNTY, AR (KAIT) -

Fulton County will hold a Shop with a Cop event in 2017 thanks to helping from Sharp County.

According to a Facebook post by John Kunkel, Sharp County Shop with a Cop helped 105 kids in Sharp County this year, and the director of the Fulton County Fair wanted to see something like that come to Fulton County.

The First Community Bank of Sharp County, Walmart, Rep. Scott Baltz, Sen. Linda Collins-Smith, John Kunkel, and the North Arkansas Electric Cooperative all donated $500 to help set up the Fulton County Shop with a Cop.

There will also be a fundraiser during the Fulton County Fair to raise more money for the program.
