3 MO teens airlifted in serious condition after crash

NEW MADRID, MO (KAIT) -

Three teens were flown to area hospitals after the SUV they were in overturned.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, it happened Tuesday at around 10:30 p.m. on Route WW near New Madrid.

 The report states Demetrius Moore, 15, of New Madrid, was driving on Route WW when he drove off the road and overturned.

Moore and Johnnie M. Walker, 15, of New Madrid, were flown to Regional One Health in Memphis, TN.

Another helicopter took David Walton, 16, of New Madrid, to the St. Francis Hospital in Cape Girardeau, MO.

Walker and Walton were not wearing seatbelts.

The report listed the three teens in serious condition.
