LITTLE ROCK, AR - Arkansas State Police have arrested a 17-year-old boy from Little Rock for allegedly throwing a large piece of concrete from an Interstate 630 overpass, killing a driver below.

Carolyn Mirek, 50, died Sunday after being struck late Saturday afternoon.  She and her 15-year-old daughter were in the vehicle when the piece of concrete went through the windshield on the driver's side.

State Police say Donelle Richardson is charged as an adult with first-degree murder for Mirek's death.  State Police spokesman Bill Sadler said the investigation is continuing.

The victim's husband, Kevin Mirek, said Tuesday that police told him they canvassed the neighborhood and searched for two days to find the people responsible for his wife's death.

Two other possible suspects were questioned but police did not release their names or ages.
