LITTLE ROCK, AR (KAIT/KATV) - Commissioners on the Arkansas Medical Marijuana Commission voted to require those wanting to grow the drug to pay $100,000 in fees per year.
According to Little Rock television station KATV, commissioners approved the "cultivation licensing and renewal fee" Tuesday afternoon.
Commissioners also voted that if a business wants to grow marijuana, they must have $1-million in assets and have $500,000 in cash.
The commission was created to oversee the implementation of the medical marijuana law, which was approved by voters in November.
