Jonesboro Hosts Northeast Arkansas Meth Summit Today

JONESBORO, AR - A panel featuring a state representative, an undercover police officer, and a circuit court judge will participate in a summit on the methamphetamine problem in northeast Arkansas today.

The Northeast Arkansas Meth Summit begins at 11:30 this morning at the Fowler Center on the Arkansas State University campus, sponsored by Arkansans for Drug-Free Youth and Families Incorporated Counseling Services.  The summit's panel will include State Representative Dustin McDaniel of Jonesboro, Sergeant Jim Chambers of the 2nd Judicial District Drug Task Force, Circuit Court Judge David Laser, family counselor Stan Gray and DEA Special Agent Keith Warzecha.

Today's event is designed to provide a forum to discuss and present relevant information in regards to the continued problems meth brings to our states.
