WEST MEMPHIS, AR (KAIT) - The West Memphis Police Department is looking for two men who reportedly took money from a bank in February.
According to a post on the department's Facebook page, two men walked into the First Community Bank on North Missouri Street on Feb. 18 around noon.
Police say a man who was wearing a black hat gave the teller $2,500 in $20 bills and asked the teller to exchange the $20 bills for $100 bills.
The teller gave him $2,500 in $100 bills, at which time the man asked to exchange those bills for Euros.
The teller said that the bank does not handle foreign currency.
The man asked for the original $20 bills back, and while he was handing the $100 bills to the teller, he allegedly took some of those bills and pocketed them.
The teller gave the man back the original $20 bills and then two men left.
