A-State Men’s Basketball Set to Face ULM in SBC Tournament

NEW ORLEANS, La. (3/4/17) – The Arkansas State men’s basketball team has earned the No. 5 seed into next week’s Sun Belt Conference Championship tournament and will take on No. 12th-seeded ULM on Wednesday, March 8 at 2:00 p.m. at Lakefront Arena in New Orleans.

A-State finished Sun Belt Conference play with an 11-7 mark and will play the Warhawks who wrapped their conference slate with a 2-16 mark after losing to Texas State on Saturday.

Should A-State advance to the quarterfinal round, they would take on the No. 4 seed Texas State on Friday, March 10 at 2:00 p.m., while the semifinals are slated for Saturday, March 11 at 11:30 a.m. The championship game will take place Sunday, March 12 at 1 p.m.

The championship game will air on ESPN2 while all other games at the Sun Belt Conference Tournament will air on ESPN3 and the WatchESPN platform. The EAB/Red Wolves Sports Network from Learfield will have coverage of each game the Red Wolves play with pregame coverage beginning 30 minutes prior to tip-off.
