2017 Riverfest lineup announced

LITTLE ROCK, AR (KAIT) -

The lineup for 2017 Riverfest in Little Rock has been announced. 

The 40th anniversary festival will feature 14 artists from June 1-4, 2017. 

The following national artists will perform:

  • Wiz Khalifa
  • Justin Moore
  • Cage The Elephant
  • Billy Currington
  • Grouplove
  • Cold War Kids
  • Jon Bellion
  • Cody Jinks
  • Moon Taxi
  • Craig Campbell
  • The Joy Formidable
  • Colt Ford
  • Dylan Scott
  • Cody Canada & The Departed
  • Split Lip Rayfield
  • Seratones
  • Tank and The Bangas

 
“We’re tremendously excited to announce this year’s lineup,” said DeAnna Korte, the festival’s executive director. “Several of these artists are also playing other prominent festivals around the nation and we’re happy to be able to bring the same talent for an affordable cost to Arkansas. We believe we have secured an eclectic group of artists that will help us celebrate this milestone year!”

Korte also said they'll bring numerous local and regional acts in as well. 

The festival gets kicked off on Thursday, June 1 with a wine and craft beer event. The two-day music fest starts Friday, June 2 and Saturday, June 3, and it concludes Sunday, June 4 with a 40th-anniversary celebration for the community and the annual fireworks display at 9 p.m.

 General admission tickets for the 3-day festival (June 2-4) are available online for $40.00 (children 10 & under get in free). 

The Ultimate Riverfest Experience package is also available for $500 and includes two admission wristbands, access to both stages private viewing areas, access to the Datamax VIP Sponsor pavilion, a Barry Thomas official 40th Anniversary Riverfest Print and unlimited re-entry access all weekend. 

Ticket holders to the music festival will gain free admission to all the fun activities on Sunday. Those who have not purchased tickets to the music festival can still attend the Sunday celebration for $5 (children 10 & under are free) at the gate.  

Details about the 40th-anniversary celebration will be released on May 1 including a headline announcement.
 
Tickets are available at RiverfestArkansas.com/tickets. The final schedule with stages & times will be announced in a couple of weeks. In the meantime, fans can follow the Riverfest Facebook and Instagram pages for more details.
