PRAIRIE COUNTY, AR (KAIT/KATV) -

Sheriff's deputies arrested a woman after the body of an elderly man was found on a Central Arkansas farm in a suitcase.

According to Little Rock ABC affiliate KATV, the Prairie County Sheriff's Office arrested Virginia "Ginger" Lee Colvin Wednesday on a felony abuse of a corpse charge.

According to a news release from Arkansas State Police, the remains were found earlier this week inside a suitcase.

Special agents working the case believe the man died of natural causes in the state of New York, but then the remains traveled to Arkansas in the case.

ASP had been searching for Colvin for questioning. She is being held on a preliminary charge of abuse of a corpse.

Another man jailed in Arkansas on an unrelated charge is also being questioned, according to ASP.

If anyone has any information, you should call Arkansas State Police at (501) 618-8100 or the Prairie County Sheriff's Office at (870) 256-4137.
