BATESVILLE, AR - An 18-wheeler reportedly carrying lumber and materials for a new home for NASCAR icon Mark Martin overturned this morning on Highway 167 on Ramsey Mountain, on Batesville's southside.

According to a spokeswoman with the Arkansas Highway & Transportation Department, the accident occured around 10 a.m. as the northbound rig descended the steep mountain.  The spokeswoman says the truck was apparently traveling too fast, causing it to overturn and spill a large load of cargo across the five-lane highway.  There were no injuries, but the accident took approximately three hours to clean up, before the roadway could be re-opened to traffic.
