Apology for Youth Lockup Death

A Houston-based company responsible for managing the Alexander Youth Services Center has apologized for the death of a female teenage inmate who died while in Arkansas custody.

17 year old Lakeisha Brown of Osceola died from a blood clot that traveled to her lungs on April 9th.

An internal investigation suggested that medical personnel and others at the center may not have responded properly to the girl's repeated complaints about her health condition.
