Suspected drug dealer arrested following early morning visit by DTF

PARKIN, AR (KAIT) - Police arrested a Parkin man following an early morning visit to his home.

Agents with the First Judicial District Drug Task Force, along with Arkansas State Police and members of the Cross County Sheriff's Office, arrested 45-year-old Michael Robinson after serving a search warrant on his home.

He's charged with possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) with the purpose to deliver, possession of drug paraphernalia, and simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms.

Robinson, a convicted felon, is also charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm.

Following his arrest Thursday morning, he appeared before a judge who set his bond at $100,000.
