Two men face numerous charges in vehicle break-in case

BATESVILLE, AR (KAIT) -

Two men are in jail facing over two dozen charges following an investigation into vehicle break-ins in Independence County.

Brady Kyler Davis, 22, and Kalvan Jay Lee Spivey, 24, were arrested this week by the Batesville Police Department.

According to court documents, investigators in Batesville started looking into reports of vehicle break-ins in February.

Spivey faces a total of 30 counts of charges, including 24 felonies and six misdemeanors. Davis faces a total of 26 counts of charges, including 20 felonies and six misdemeanors.

Charges for the men range from possession of firearms by certain persons, fraudulent use of a credit card, theft of property, and breaking or entering.

Both men are in the Independence County Jail each on a $100,000 bond.
